Yes, this palette is great for a beginner. Gives you some essential colours, as well as some nice one strokes that you can use for many, many designs .  Over time, you will find you need more black and white, so that is something to consider buying in addition to this.  After a month of practicing, my black is already sort of low.  I am finding one or two of the split cakes are starting to split between colours, but I am still able to use and paint without any problems, will take away one star for this reason. All around though, it is a great palette and is a good choice for a beginner.

This palette is perfect for any beginner face painter, you get a variety of one strokes to give you a taste of what they're like without breaking the bank! The colour choices are beautiful, and global's paints are opaque and glide with ease! Absolutely in love with this palette and can't wait to get more!
